When I wrote this line, I didn’t realize how true it felt until I saw it sitting there — soft light, open shelves, and quiet honesty.

Sometimes I really do wish I could arrange my heart the way I do my shelves. To put the fragile parts higher, the heavy ones lower, and leave a little space for light to settle in between.
But life doesn’t always work like that. Our hearts collect everything — memories, grief, hope, joy — and no matter how messy it looks, it’s still ours. Still alive. Still finding its own rhythm.
So maybe it’s not about tidying the heart after all.
Maybe it’s about learning to let it breathe — a little messy, a little open, but still ours. 💛
